All kids will be tattooed, disbudded & vaccinated unless otherwise requested.
I will be DHIR milk testing most dams. I will have bottle babies available as well as dam raised kids. We spend a lot of time with our herd so our dam raised babies are usually pretty friendly.
During the 2020 kidding season, I learned getting all kids on a bottle does not work as easily for me & my herd as it does for others. My husband and I both work full time day jobs while running our farm gets very, very busy. Calving season is in the fall, so that means calf weaning season overlaps with our kidding season as well as our cow preg checks & overall herd health checks. I will try to bottle raise kids but it may not be in the cards for 2021. My goal is to at least do a hybrid option, where dam raised kids are familiar with a bottle. Everyone operates differently, so if you would like a bottle baby, please tell me what you are looking for /or out of what pairings and I will let you know when they are born so they can get on a bottle before it's too late.
If you are interested in any kids, contact me by e-mail to be on a wait list. Please indicate if you are a new or experienced goat owner, what you are looking for in kid(s) and if you are interested in any specific breeding pair. Being on the wait list means I can notify you once kids are available before anyone else or before they are put on the website/facebook page. Once I contact you about available kid(s) and you confirm you want that kid, a $50 non-refundable deposit will be needed (per kid) in order to hold. Once your kid is available after weaning, you'll have 30 days to pickup your kid. If it goes beyond the 30 days, you'll forfeit your deposit & I will offer the kid to someone else. Buyer is responsible for all transportation costs.
Note: I will not sell a solo kid to someone who is not currently a goat owner. Goats are a herd animal, they need at least one other companion to be a happy. I would be available for questions/mentorship for any new goat owners or anyone who is curious about anything goat related. I love talking about goats and I have learned a lot over the past few years to be able to share what has worked for me as well as what has not.
**I have the right to retain ANY kids born on my farm!
**I have the right to refuse a sale if I do not see fit!
**These breeding pairs are subject to change!
Thank you so much, we look forward to the 2021 kidding season :)
