2026 KIDDING SCHEDULE, NO JOKES ABOUT IT!

**Our herd has been closed since April 2023**

Kidding season is a very busy time for us (aren't we all?). My husband and I both work full time day jobs while running our farm gets very busy. Now with a newborn baby of our own, we aren't freshening as many and will not have as many goats on the milk string. If you're looking for available adults, please contact us. 

A little about how we manage the herd:

I pull kids within a week or two after birth and get them on the bottle, timing depends on space and my schedule. In my experience, this helps them get off to a good start with their dam by eating hay/grain at a younger age (smarter). They're also more friendly with me on a bottle but not being piranhas, like you can see when pulling from birth. 

The sooner you let me know who you'd like to reserve, the sooner I can get them on a bottle before they leave :)

**ALL bottle-fed milk is pasteurized**

**When kids are pulled, they are raised in a different area, away from adults**

**The yearling pen has a dry lot, they are not on pasture**

**Adults in the "adult pen" are all 2.5yo and up**

If you are interested in any kids, contact me by e-mail/facebook messenger to be on the reservation list. It's FREE to be on the list. Please indicate if you are a new or experienced goat owner, what you are looking for in kid(s) and what doe(s) you'd like a kid from. Being on the reservation list means I can notify you once kids are available before anyone else or before they are put on the website/facebook page.  Once I contact you about available kid(s) and you confirm you want that kid, a $100 non-refundable deposit will be needed (per kid) in order to hold. Once your kid is available, you'll have 30 days to pickup your kid. If beyond the 30 days, you'll forfeit your deposit & I will offer the kid to someone else. 

**I WILL GIVE PREFERENCE TO THOSE WHO CAN TAKE KIDS ON A BOTTLE BY 4 WEEKS OF AGE AND TO PERFORMANCE HOMES!**

My base price for kids is $400 which will include registration for kids. Prices goes up depending on the dam/genetics, if they're proven & depending on how their udder looks. I will adjust pricing after freshening if necessary- to be as fair as possible. If purchasing an intact buckling, I will include registration & DNA on him. 

**(After the sale date, if it takes more than 4 months for you to get back to me on a name and your ADGA ID#, the registration cost will go on the buyer)**

All kids will be tattooed, disbudded & vaccinated. I will have bottle babies available as well as dam raised kids. We spend a lot of time with our herd so our dam raised babies are usually pretty friendly. Any intact bucklings sold will be DNA tested due to ADGA's new DNA requirements. I will be picky on what does I will sell intact bucklings from, they need to be proven & not out of a first freshener (they'd have to be pretty incredible IF that happens!). There are A LOT of bucks out there that should've been castrated. They were left intact based on color and his dam is unproven- I am NOT one of those breeders!! :)

Note: Goats are a herd animal, they need at least one goat companion. I prefer to sell kids in pairs, the buddy system works WELL & helps ease kids into their new herd. I would be available for questions/mentorship for any new goat owners or anyone who is curious about anything goat related. I love talking about goats and I have learned a lot over the past few years to be able to share what has worked well for me & what has not.
